Here are just a few of the existing posters from past years.
The poster above is very image based and in my eyes it doesn't show the information of the event very clearly but I am drawn to the image and I then noticed the info at the bottom if I can do the same thing mainly type I think I will have succeeded.

I think this poster has a good balance of image to type, I would probably make the type larger or more dominant fo this brief.

Things I am required to use

The MoS logo I have been given.

And the colour palette which I have to use.

The Target audience

The Target audience is Ministry of Sound attracts clubbers and dance music lovers, with an average age of around 18-30. A night at Saturday Sessions will be the highlight of their month and will be something that they will plan well in advance.

Ministry of Sound Brief Requirements

After looking at all the given briefs I chose this one as it stood out from the rest. I am very fond of Typography and poster design so this brief sounds like it's right up my street.

I am required to produce a set of three typographically-focused A2 outdoor posters then can be either landscape or portrait they will be used for a three month advertising campaign of ministry of Sound's iconic London event 'Saturday Sessions'.

The posters should communicate a clear conceptual theme or idea based around the club or the music. I have been given some content that must be used, the logo and colour swatches, but I have free range with the type choice and size.

I have to keep in mind that the typography should strike a balance between expression, experimentation and legibility. These posters are normally seen in outdoor sites and often viewed from a moving vehicle so impact is crucial.
