Evaluation.

I am happy with the overall outcome. I feel i have created three designs which are fit for purpose and would attract audiences to the events. I think i have followed the rules of the brief well and have come up with three great looking posters. I have learnt a lot about layout more during this project. I feel the hierarchy works well and the information is clearly shown.

I found this brief enjoyable as it gave me a chance to show of my typo and layout skills, I feel that they have Improved throughout this project. I need to remember to use grid systems more often as I hesitate when thinking about using them but after this brief I can see how much they can help.

Final posters.

After a couple of changes I have three finished posters.
By reinforcing a grid system I have neatened up the final design of my posters, as this tightened up any loose bits of type that didn't look right.

I decided to keep the design of each poster the same and only change the colour as this keeps them unified and helps them look like a set.

I distorted the Ministry of sound logo as after a chat with a classmate, I was told it was too big and took attention away from the information of the poster Which looking back now I agree with, It's still noticeable but is not the main feature of the poster.

Almost there.

After a critique from a few class mates I made several changes to the design of the poster.
I decided to add an background image, I used wolf fur as wolves are pack animals and referring to a comment I made earlier about When you go to club nights you go with you friends like a pack of animals I thought it was fitting.

I used the Ministry of sound logo in the background too I made it quite large as I thought being the owner of the event this was important.

I am not entirely happy with the Layout of the body type and think there is still room for improvement.

It's all coming together

I am happy with how this is coming along so far, I have tried to add a touch of student returning to uni as I mentioned earlier and am happy with the outcome. The type still needs a play with but I am making progress with the design.
